On X, Threads and Bluesky, AI Assist can write a whole thread at once.
Write a thread
- Open the composer section for X, Threads or Bluesky.
- In AI Assist, switch from Post to Thread at the top right of the panel.
- Under the prompt box, choose a Length: Auto, 3, 5 or 8 posts.
- Describe the thread, or pick a preset if you already have text:
- Split into a thread breaks a long draft into posts, keeping your wording as close as possible.
- Expand into a thread grows a short draft into a full thread with an opening hook and a close.
- Press Enter.
The thread comes back as a set of cards, one per post, each with its own character count.
Polish it before you use it
On each card you can:
- edit the text directly,
- press Rewrite this post to regenerate just that one, or
- press Remove this post to drop it.
Further requests in the prompt box refine the whole thread.
Use it
Press Replace thread (or Shift + Enter) to swap your thread in the composer for the suggestion. Press Discard to keep what you had.
If your thread already has images, AI Assist sees them and knows which post each is on.
What it costs
A whole thread is one request: 1 credit, however many posts it has.
