Media Agent makes an image for the post you are writing, from a description or from the post itself.
Make an image
- In the composer, open the Media Agent tab in the side panel. The top line says which post the image is for.
- Choose a style:
- Photo: a natural scene for the post.
- Graphic: a designed piece, such as a promo card, announcement or quote, with lettering on it.
- Choose a shape: 1:1, 4:5, 16:9 or 9:16. Fluxi picks the one that suits the network you are posting to, and you can change it.
- Choose how many Images to make, from 1 to 4. See Make several at once.
- Describe the image, such as a promo card for our autumn bake box: "pre-order by Thursday". Or leave the box empty and Media Agent illustrates the post you have written.
- Press Enter.
A preview appears and sharpens while the image is drawn, with a timer. Most images take well under a minute. To stop, press the stop button; once the request has reached the image model its credits are still used.
Put the details on a graphic
For a graphic, write the words and numbers you want on it into the description: the price, the address, the dates, the times, the phone number. For example:
- A "Just listed" card: 14 Valley Drive, £485,000, with icons for 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 1,350 sq ft
- Our price list with dotted leaders: Restyle cut £48, Gents' cut £24, Root tint £55
- This week's class timetable, one row per day, with the times and an icon for each class
Media Agent sets them as part of the design. Check every number and spelling before you post, as you would with any proof.
Make several at once
Set Images to 2, 3 or 4 to get several takes from one request. Media Agent first decides how each take should differ, such as a new layout, angle or mood, then draws them all at the same time. The first take follows your description as written.
The takes appear in a grid, with the direction each one took written under it. Hover over a take to view it larger, add it to the post, save it or edit it, or click it to open it on its own. The × beside an open take goes back to the whole batch.
If one take can't be made, the others still arrive and that take's credits are refunded.
Setting Images above 1 works for edits too: you get several versions of the same change to choose from.
Your logo and colours
Media Agent designs in the brand colours from your business profile. For a graphic it builds the design on them; for a photo it leans the palette gently towards them.
Tick Use logo to place your logo in the image. It is placed once, exactly as it is, and never redrawn. Use logo is on by default for graphics and off for photos. You need a logo in your business profile to use it.
Use it, change it, or try again
Under the image:
- Add to post saves it to your media library and attaches it to the post.
- Save puts it in your media library without attaching it.
- Edit this makes it the starting point for a change. Describe what to change, such as make the background deep navy. See Edit images with AI.
- The bin discards that version.
- Try again runs the same request again for a different result.
- The magnifier opens the image at full size.
Each result is a new version, shown in a strip under the image. A batch of takes is one version, marked with how many it holds, such as v1 ×4. Click any version to go back to it.
Your media library stays tidy
Only images you Save or Add to post go into your media library, in a folder called AI Generated. Everything else you tried is left out.
What it costs
Each image, or each edit, uses 10 credits. Several takes at once cost that much each, so four takes cost four times as much. The cost of what you have set up is shown at the bottom of the panel before you press Enter. See How AI credits work.
