Alt text describes an image for people who use screen readers. Fluxi writes it for you with AI when you upload an image, and sends it to the networks that support alt text when your post is published.
Check or edit it
Images with alt text show an ALT badge on their thumbnail, in the media library and in the composer.
- Click the ALT badge (or Add alt text on an image without one).
- Read the description in Describe this image. Change anything that is wrong or missing.
- Press Save.
Press Regenerate with AI for a fresh description.
Tips
- Say what matters about the image for this post, not every detail in it.
- Name things the AI can't know, such as a product's name or who is in the photo.
- Alt text can be up to 1,000 characters, but a sentence or two is usually best.
AI Assist also reads alt text when it writes a post for an image, so a good description helps it get the details right.
What it costs
Nothing. AI alt text does not use AI credits.
