Campaigns and AI

Make a campaign

Tell Fluxi what you are promoting and when, and it plans the posts, make the media, write the copy and put the drafts on your calendar.

Updated

A campaign is a run of posts about one thing: a launch, an opening, an event, an offer. Tell Fluxi what it is and when, and it plans the posts, chooses and makes the media, writes each post for every network and puts them on your calendar as drafts. You check the plan before anything is made, and nothing is posted until you approve it.

Set up a campaign

  1. Open Campaigns in the sidebar and press Create.
  2. Under What are you promoting?, say what it is and when, in a line or two. For example: We're opening our second studio, on Fossgate in York, on Saturday 21 November. Build up to it and fill the first week. Add anything else the posts should say or avoid.
  3. Give the campaign a Name and a colour. The colour marks its posts on your calendar and posts list.
  4. Under When does it run?, choose the start and end dates. Campaigns can run for up to 62 days. If you want roughly a certain number of posts, enter it; otherwise Fluxi decides.
  5. Under Where does it post?, choose the accounts.
  6. Under Media, press Add media to pick the photos and videos you most want used, from your library or uploaded there and then. Add a note to any of them, such as hero product. Fluxi looks through the rest of your library too.
  7. On a paid plan, turn on Let Fluxi make video if you want short clips for reels, TikTok and Shorts.
  8. Press Plan campaign.

The form saves as you go, so you can leave and come back.

Check the plan

Planning takes a couple of minutes, and it is free. You can leave the page while it runs.

When it is ready you see:

  • The Creative direction: the key message, call to action, look, mood, hashtags and anything to avoid. Press Edit to change it.
  • Every planned post as a card, week by week: when it goes out, its place in the campaign, what it is about, its format on each network, and its media, with what it will cost.

Change anything you like:

  • Change a post's date and time, or rewrite what it is about.
  • Change its format on any network, or set a network to Not posted.
  • Remove media, add your own with Your media, or describe a new image with AI image.
  • Remove a post with the bin, or press Add a post to add your own.

The bar at the bottom shows the number of posts, their formats, and the total credits against what you have. When you are happy, press Approve & create. To start again with a different brief, dates, accounts or media, press Back to setup; the plan is thrown away and you can plan again for free.

While Fluxi works

After you approve, the campaign page shows its progress. Clips take a few minutes each. You can leave the page: drafts appear on your calendar as they are ready.

For each post, Fluxi prepares or makes its media and checks what came out, writes it for each network in your brand voice, checks it against your brief and business profile, and adds it to your calendar as a draft.

If a post cannot be made, it shows why, with Try again. Credits for anything not made are returned.

Review and approve

The campaign page shows every post as a card, with its media, networks and copy. Press a post to open it, then edit it like any other post.

For a draft you would like done differently, open the ... menu on its card and choose New copy or New media and copy. It is remade in place, keeping its date.

When you are happy, press Approve all. Every draft that is still in the future is scheduled. Drafts are never published until you do this.

Find a campaign's posts

Campaign posts carry the campaign's colour on the Calendar and Posts pages, and both can be filtered to one campaign. A post's details show which campaign it belongs to.

Start a campaign from your media

On the Media page, select the photos you want, then use Add to campaign to add them to an existing campaign, or Create campaign to start a new one with them already picked.

What it costs

Planning is free. Each post costs 2 credits for its copy, plus its media: your own photos are free, an edited or new image is 10 credits, and video is 15 credits a second. See how AI credits work. Approving sets aside the total shown on the plan, and anything not used is returned. Video needs a paid plan.
