AI Images makes an image for the post you are writing, from a description or from the post itself.
Make an image
- In the composer, open the AI Images tab in the side panel. The top line says which post the image is for.
- Choose a style:
- Photo: a natural scene for the post.
- Graphic: a designed piece, such as a promo card, announcement or quote, with lettering on it.
- Choose a shape: 1:1, 4:5, 16:9 or 9:16. Fluxi picks the one that suits the network you are posting to, and you can change it.
- Describe the image, such as a promo card for our autumn bake box: "pre-order by Thursday". Or leave the box empty and AI Images illustrates the post you have written.
- Press Enter.
A preview appears and sharpens while the image is drawn, with a timer. Most images take about a minute.
Your logo and colours
AI Images designs in the brand colours from your business profile. For a graphic it builds the design on them; for a photo it leans the palette gently towards them.
Tick Use logo to place your logo in the image. It is placed once, exactly as it is, and never redrawn. Use logo is on by default for graphics and off for photos. You need a logo in your business profile to use it.
Use it, change it, or try again
Under the image:
- Add to post saves it to your media library and attaches it to the post.
- Save puts it in your media library without attaching it.
- Edit this makes it the starting point for a change. Describe what to change, such as make the background deep navy. See Edit images with AI.
- The bin discards that version.
- Try again runs the same request again for a different result.
- The magnifier opens the image at full size.
Each result is a new version, shown in a strip under the image. Click any version to go back to it.
Your media library stays tidy
Only images you Save or Add to post go into your media library, in a folder called AI Generated. Everything else you tried is left out.
What it costs
Each image, or each edit, uses 10 credits. See How AI credits work.
