Fluxi walks you through setup the first time you sign in. This article covers the same steps, so you know what each one does and how to come back to anything you skipped.
Create your account
- Go to app.tryfluxi.com/register and sign up with your email address and a password.
- Open the verification email we send you and click the link. You need a verified email before you can use the app.
- Sign in. Your free trial starts now and lasts fourteen days. No card is needed.
The setup steps
The first time you sign in, a setup dialog opens and takes you through three steps.
- Name your social portfolio. A social portfolio holds a set of connected accounts and the posts you schedule to them. Most people start with one for themselves or their business. See What is a social portfolio?.
- Connect your first account. Choose a network. You are sent to that network's site to approve the connection, then brought straight back to Fluxi. See Connect a social account.
- Write your first post. The composer opens with your new account already selected. See Schedule a post.
You can skip the dialog at any point. It will not open again by itself, but nothing is lost: everything it does can also be done from Settings.
The getting started checklist
After you finish or skip the dialog, a Getting started checklist appears in the bottom-right corner of the app. It tracks four things:
- Create your social portfolio
- Connect an account
- Schedule your first post
- Connect another platform
Each item ticks itself off when you do it, wherever you do it from. You can minimise the checklist to a small pill, or dismiss it once you no longer need it.
Invited to someone else's team? You will not see the setup dialog if the team already has a social portfolio and connected accounts. You can start scheduling straight away.
