Getting started

What is a social portfolio?

How Fluxi groups accounts, posts and media by client or brand, and how to create, switch between and delete portfolios.

Updated

A social portfolio is one client or brand, and everything that belongs to it: the connected social accounts, the posts scheduled to them, and the media library you use to create them.

If you only post for yourself or one business, you need one portfolio. If you manage social media for several clients, give each client their own. A post can only go to accounts in the portfolio you are working in, so one client's content never ends up on another client's account.

Create a portfolio

  1. Go to Settings → Social Portfolios.
  2. Create a new portfolio and give it a name. You can rename it later.
  3. Open the portfolio and connect its accounts.

Each social portfolio is billed separately. On the free trial you can have one. On Pay As You Go, Fluxi asks you to confirm the change to your plan before creating a portfolio beyond the number you pay for. Unlimited has no cap. See Plans, billing and invoices.

Switch between portfolios

Use the social portfolio selector in the app to choose which portfolio you are working in. The composer, calendar and posts list all show the portfolio you have selected.

One account per network

A portfolio can hold one account from each network: one X account, one Instagram account, one Facebook Page, and so on. LinkedIn profiles and LinkedIn Pages count as separate networks, so a portfolio can have one of each.

To post to two accounts on the same network, such as two brands' Instagram accounts, put them in two portfolios.

Delete a portfolio

Go to Settings → Social Portfolios, open the menu next to the portfolio and choose Delete.

Deleting a portfolio removes its connected accounts and scheduled posts. Posts that have already been published stay on the networks. Deleting a portfolio does not reduce your bill by itself. Lower the number of portfolios on your plan as well, as described in Plans, billing and invoices.
