Connecting accounts

Connect Instagram, TikTok or YouTube

What each of these networks needs before Fluxi can post to it, and what you can schedule once it is connected.

Updated

All three connect the usual way: choose the network in the portfolio's settings, approve access on the network's own site, and you are brought back to Fluxi. See Connect a social account for the steps. Each network has its own requirements, covered below.

Instagram

Instagram only allows scheduling tools to publish to professional accounts, meaning Business or Creator accounts. If your account is personal, switch it to a professional account in the Instagram app first. It is free and takes a minute.

You can schedule single images, carousels of images and videos, reels and stories.

TikTok

Sign in as the TikTok account you want to post to and approve access. TikTok posts are videos, so you need a video in the portfolio's media library before you can schedule one.

YouTube

Sign in with the Google account that owns or manages the channel. If your Google account has access to more than one channel, Google asks you which one to use.

Each YouTube post is one video with a title, an optional description and a privacy setting: public, unlisted or private. The composer shows the title's length against YouTube's limit as you type.

YouTube decides for itself whether an upload is a Short. Vertical videos of three minutes or less are treated as Shorts.
